On the 18 October 2011 Hermitage Fisheries has been featured on the ITV News and in several national and local daily newspapers; The Sun, Daily Mail, East Anglian Daily Times and the Cambridge News.

A giant 32-inch 12lb pike has choked to death after trying to swallow a 3lb carp. It has then floated up in one of the lakes and was retrieved by the Fisheries owner, David Walker.
